Is it that time already? ISPO hits the tradeshow floor on 29th January, so people are already talking about what's on the horizon for next season. We're not normally that interested until they're in the shops, but thought this article by Tom Wilson-North (Zero G, Chamonix) was quite interesting and a good heads-up on what you might expect from next year's bindings. The binding market has been pretty static for a few years. Same old colour palettes, shapes, buckles, designs and theories. Fortunately, 12/13 sees some big investments and things are shaking up. Little companies doing big things. New materials, fresh colour codes and inspired baseplate ideas. Innovative approaches, more comprehensive lines, less filler. Tom Wilson-North checks it out.
