We had a meeting with Xscape recently about a whole number of things. One main point was queues for the park. We suggested two lines down the park to reduce queues. Whether it was our words or something else, but this is now what they've done.
On the left line - flat to 15ft kinked rail, followed by kicker, followed by the quarter.
On the right line - 8ft rail, followed by 42ft flat to kink rail, then
at the bottom is the easy double rail which is quite long and really nice.
Of course you can pick and mix between the lines to get quite a varied
number of combinations. The only complaint is that the kickers are still "not so hot", but as we understand it this is the next thing on their list of park improvement, so we might see some more wooden ramps or better maintained kickers.
Rob Cuss has also mentioned a jib fest later in the year and we're now hearing that this will be with Nixon. This is the sort of event that the indoor slopes can do really sell.
