Sprezzatura sent us his musings on the London Snow World development at Beckton.

I would hate to see that the best views of the City of London from the East are gone forever, in that at least 50 feet of the top of the Alp have been pared away for...? Who knows? The longer the weeds grow, the hoarding dilapidates and the scaffold rusts, the greater I feel that Beckton has been sorely let-down. I shall only feel happy about the new and proposed, Snow World, when it is actually up and running.
