ISF Declare Insolvency
Posted Friday 28th June 2002, 9:40 am by Dunx
On June 22nd, 2002 the Board of Directors of the International Snowboard Federation (ISF) voted, with one abstention, to follow the advice of its Executive Committee and declare insolvency of the ISF immediately. The lack of a credible solution to the financial difficulties and the missing support of past partners forced this drastic action. Therefore all ISF operations will cease immediately.

The New Zealand Junior World Championships will now come under the control of the organizing committee and the nations.

The National Associations (BSA in the UK) and their competitions will continue to be a vibrant asset to our sport. The information, results, and rankings of these events and the participating riders will continue to be posted on >a href="http://www.snowboardranking.com">snowboardranking.com as an independent service.

The Board of Directors would like to thank our sponsors, our friends, and our supporters for helping us realize our dream for the past 10 years. We continue to love our sport and know there will be growth and excitement as we move forward.
