ThreeSixZero went to Snozone on Friday evening and the pipe was indeed open. Most of the regulars were hitting it, with at least one backside 540. Lucy Passmore (only been riding 8 months) had it sorted and Mad Phil was throwing himself of it with little style and little fear. They had to close the pipe after about 90 minutes due to deterioration. The pipe has also meant the demise of the box and the two gas pipes from the park and the extra kicker on the other slope didn't make an appearance this week.

Highlight of the night was Mad Phil launching himself over the central fence between the two runs followed by his signature front flip on the kicker. "Phil! No inverts!" a popular cry at Snozone.

Lucy tells us that the pipe is great and fairly easy. Give it a go people.
