The quarter pipe is all but finished and looking good. But what about the rest of Snozone's Park? It can change pretty quickly, but you can expect the current configuration to be around for a while.
In my mind this is one of the best parks they've had for a while. All the hits are doable for the adventurous boarder, but not so mad as to be intimidating. Good practise all round. However, the kicker landings are flat - some more rolling jumps could be a winner. The rainbow rail is good fun and although I don't have much experience of them (i.e. none), was hitting it confidently by the end of the night. For those in the know, it could do with being longer. I didn't touch the box as the landing was a deep pit and that's edge catching land in my experience. There was also a jump towards the top of the "other" slope that nicely split the queues at the top and didn't seem to distract from those just wanting to ride. As usual the music wasn't up to much, but the Friday lessons mean they can't have it too loud.
There's still talk of some sort of car on the slope. No longer a VW combi, but possibly one of those new Chrysler thingies. We'll wait for more on that one.
The current park is certainly worth a visit.
