Advertising Rates - Download pdf file here There are many opportunities for you to partner or advertise with Snowboard Club UK and we present them all on this page. If you want to speak to somebody about them then get in touch through our Contact Us page or just email info@snowboardclub.co.uk Why you should get involvedLet's deal with the most obvious question first. Why should you or your business want to get involved with Snowboard Club UK?
So what opportunities are there?We'll summarise them here. More detail is provided below.
Click here if you need banners to help drive any partnership. If you want some SCUK and/or other stickers, send as SAE to our Brighton address and tell us what you're after. Club Partner (SCUK DEALER)If we have a preference in how we'd like to work with you, this is it. We'd rather you provided benefit to our members than cash to us. What you getWe'll announce the new partnership as news on our homepage and in our newsletter. We'll add a logo, description of your business and the offer in the appropriate Discount page. Only members are able to see the details of how to claim a discount. Your logo will be added to the rotation in the right hand panel on the homepage and other pages.
How much then?Becoming a Club Partner is free. Typically you will offer our Members discounts of 10% on goods or services, but naturally we can be flexible on this. What next?Becoming a Club Partner is easy. Email info@snowboardclub.co.uk and we'll sort out the terms and conditions of the agreement. Competition PartnerWe're always looking to give our Members something for nothing and there's no better way to promote your brand or product than to provide some prizes for us to give away on the website. We can handle pretty much anything you might throw at us. What you getWe create a competition page based on copy and images you provide. The competition question is normally simple and we typically ask the entrant to visit your website to discover the answer. The competition is listed on our main competition page, gets announced on the homepage and gets coverage in the newsletter. We'll create a graphic for it that will feature in the top-right hand column on the website. Most competitions run for a month and are only open to Snowboard Club UK Members, however they are visible to all visitors to the website. How much then?We only ask that you take out 2 months banner advertising (at a 50% discount as you will be a partner - check the rates here) and we'd expect you to provide a prize/prizes worthy of the exposure you're getting. Typically we ask for prizes RRP for between £50-£150, for you to ship direct to the winners, whose details we provide on completion of the promotion. If you have items worth approx £500 RRP, it might be better to consider becoming a Monthly Draw Partner. What next?Email info@snowboardclub.co.uk to discuss how we can progress. Monthly Draw PartnerWe run a Monthly Draw for all Snowboard Club Members. We reserve the best prizes for this promotion, but naturally we only have so many slots throughout the year. What you getThe prime top-right promo position on the website and some words on the Monthly Draw page. The feature on the Monthly Draw page remains for 12 months, so you'll get exposure for the year if you wish to partner with us on this. The Draw will also get announced as news on our homepage and of course features heavily in every newsletter that goes out for the duration. How much then?Again, there is no cost, but we like the prizes to be something a little special. Typically we ask you to ship direct to the winners, whose details we provide on completion of the promotion.

Website PartnerSometimes you've got nothing much to sell, but have a great brand or website and you'd like to become a partner of Snowboard Club UK. We're very picky about our partners and need to make sure the services you provide match or compliment our own services or that you can provide us great exposure in return. What you getA link/logo on the bottom right of the website. We'll also post whatever news seems appropriate for the website as and when required to keep people updated on how your website/project is going. We can also arrange additional content if this seems appropriate. How much then?The cost to you is a strong reciprocal link on your website and/or representation on your product. For example, where we partner with snowboard movie productions, we would expect our logo to appear on the DVD cover and within the credits. What next?Email info@snowboardclub.co.uk Retail AffiliateIf you're unable to provide our Members with a discount because it's not technically possible or against your policies, the next best thing might be an affiliate partnership. Whilst this doesn't benefit our members directly, it gets good exposure for you. It might also be that we can earn commission to link from our Discount pages if you're a Club Partner, when used by non-members to access your website. As with all our advertisers, we only take partners who have services we think are of direct relevance to our users. What you getA banner as part of our banner rotation in the bottom section of the website. How much then?You'll need to provide us with information on how to create the required affiliate links. We will also need a suitable banner as described above. What next?Email info@snowboardclub.co.uk to discuss terms. Membership AffiliateWe have Snowboard Club UK Memberships to sell, so we offer you the chance to make money if you direct new members to our site. What you getYou'll get paid 10% commission on all new membership joining fees you direct to us (unless they use another discount code when applying). So that's £1.50 on Lite Memberships, £2.50 on Junior Memberships, £3 on Adult Memberships and a tidy £7 on Family Memberships. We will pay out when you have earnt a minimum of £25 although we'll need an invoice before we can do that. Tracking is done via Cookies, which last 999 days. These figures include VAT. Payments will be less VAT. Your invoice should include VAT only if you are registered.What next?Email info@snowboardclub.co.uk and we'll provide you with the code you require to create the necessary links from your website. A4 poster Blank "SCUK" A4 poster Both are 2mb Word Docs that you complete yourself. To download in IE, please right click above link and then "Save Target As...". Need an email newsletter template? email us. We'd like every single one of our members to get involved with this one. The more members we get, the better discounts and prizes we can sort out for everybody. If you have access to a large group of potential Snowboard Club UK members, say at work, school or as part of another club, then we can set you all up with a 10% discount on SCUK Membership and sort you out with some nice incentives. What you getWe give your group a 10% discount across the board on all new Snowboard Club UK membership joining fees (unless they use another discount code when applying). So that's £1.50 off Lite Memberships, £2.50 off Junior Memberships, £3 off Adult Memberships and a tidy £7 off Family Memberships. We can provide two formats of poster for you to complete and put up around the place. One is more "school friendly" than the other! As an added incentive to you personally, if you manage 25 memberships, we'll send you a SCUK snowboard tool. If you encourage 50 new memberships, you'll be looking forward to some Etnies footwear on your doorstep. Be responsible for 100 new memberships and we'll shout you to a new K2 snowboard.
