The Judeans - How it came to be...

Since early man?s struggle with traversing snowy landscapes many centuries ago, various methods have been devised.

After numerous evolutionary cycles the ski proto-type, was, for some not-inconsiderable time, widely accepted as the ultimate devise for navigating through such snowy plains ? The Dark Ages.

Of course, as is well documented and fully appreciated now, the emergence of such immoral pursuits as ski ballet, drove a group of dissatisfied snow enthusiasts underground. The outcome? the snowboard. These intrepid pioneers forged the way for those no longer happy with the independent leg system that skiing provided and the inevitable temptations this subsequently brought. The "daffy" and the "leg spreader" whose days were numbered.

From this early revolution, the art of riding feet locked together presented various alternatives, and a number of faction groups were spawned. We have come to know these as:

The Judean Riders? Front (Goofy riders click here)
Those who chose to ride with their right foot forward.

The Riders? Front of Judea (Regular riders click here)
Those who rode left foot forwards.

The Judean Popular Front
Those that could not decide whether to ride right or left leg forward; and inevitably...

The Judean Popular Riders? Front
The monoboarder (members: 1).

Over decades, this inherent divide, it seemed, could never be bridged. Squabbles over sharing chairlifts; building of biased kickers for one particular persuasion; the inability to perform powder eights together (due to the hazardous double blind-spot); and general hatred for anyone different, drove these groups into bitter and deep-seated rivalry.

If only they could all join the ?Judean Popular Riders? Front? and just get along?
