Robster, double standards? Err sking and snowboarding are winter sports what has parkour got to do with winter sports.
Many many people have taken time to write and voice their opinions to cfe, myself included.
I think squishey has sumed up the situation nicely. The thought process is totally f*cked up. What sort of management would even consider cutting in half one of the main income providers over the summer months, being the park, never mind actually doing it. Then trying to boost income by some other stupid means that the place was not even built to cater for?
The place is on course for disaster. You only have to look at the last airbag night to see how much the place has gone downhill. 2 years ago the slope would of been ram packed with a good vibe, dj's etc. 2 years on yes the airbag was fully booked but the slope was VERY quiet, no sight of the promised full slope set up or anything other than the usual suicide music they continously play.
So all the promises they made for this night where again given the cfe 2 finger salute.
It is no wonder the usual comment about cfe is used to ride there, no longer do. THEY should be doing stuff to bring the regulars back NOT pissing them off even further. Seems they dont care most are taking their money to CAS!! |

Used to ride there, no longer do. Live about 8 minutes away by car and we planned to be regulars on a weekly basis when it first opened. Can count the number of times I have ridden there in the last year on one hand.
As for Parkour - good luck to it but I'm confused as to why Chill Factor E want to be involved. It's all about moving through your environment in its natural state, not creating a fake environment. I know there are training centres, but whilst there are town centres to leap around, why would anyone pay? The focus in that thread is about training instructors which I think gives us more of an insight into what Chill Factor E are thinking - maybe that's where they think the money is. I can't see it myself.
As with all business, get the basics right in your own field before dabbling in stuff you know nothing about. When Chill is rammed all day and all night and has a great atmosphere and a regular scene, then see what you can branch out into. Talk to your natural customers first, and then see if you can add on some sidelines. |

| Worlds largest rabbit, Parkour and Zorbing, sounds like a theme park, might as well turn the chillers off and put in a roller coaster. |

Just to show how out of touch these guys are, they even tried stopping the instructors from using the slope after 9pm. I mean, trying to stop the backbone & frontline of your workforce from practicing.
You could not make it up, it has gone so so wrong.
I wonder how you go about getting in touch with those above the clueless muppets that are currently running the place?? |

yup, thats the fella the first comments section didnt work, but all the others in the form were fine.
So I completed carefully to ensure there was no confusion about why anyone with an interest in snow sports would go elsewhere |

1, Ski Centre,
2, Leisure Facility
3, Tourist Attraction
4, Sports Complex/Centre
5, Other |

| i was at cfe tonight n it was balls to a point where i couldnt even be arsed and came off early, just too icey i mean serious it was ice skating, i was nearly falling and washing out upto a kicker i mean wtf is that, funnily enuf the kickers were fine but the slope was terrible only park riders with slow ass boards would appreciate it being that icey i could gain enough speed and clear the kickers within like 7ft away i have a fast and almost clean edge board yeah ideal for carving but werent getting nothing in cfe or sorry should i say icefactore. |
