| Stopforumspam really helped me clear out a hellalot of spammers on another site using phpBB years back. I've used plugins, guess that there's one for PNphpBB and Drupal, for it on nearly every site I set up now as it stops most of them even being able to view the site (IP block via db lookup) or register. A combination of that along with reCAPTCHA seems to keep all but the most hardened at bay. |

There is indeed a module for SCUK2/Drupal. I can't afford the time to change SCUK1 I'm afraid. |
