I remember a while back on AdeTrip, there was a good thread about helmets and the use of....
Just womdered what everybody thinks of using Protection (Bars, don't say it please..)
For me I like the reassurance that it gives me, after two bouts of concussion, a knackered knee, bruised cochyx etc...
Personally, I ride (most of the time) with a Helmet, Wrist Guards, Impact Shorts and Knee Pads (next time I go)...
What does everybody else wear (if any) ...
The floor is open... |

| Buying a helmet and some shorts next time I go (Subvert here I come) so I will be wearing them. There still seems to be a snigger about wearing helmets etc but know how much it hurts and I quite like my skull intact. After my 720 frontflip in march I really know how much it hurts. Just need some comfy wristguards |

| I always wear a helmet, knee pads and impact shorts. The helmet came after giving myself concusion and a migrane on the snowflex kicker at sheffield. The impact shorts cause i was sick of bruising my arse and the knee pads where left over from BMXing back in the day! |

Red wrist guards, Impact Shorts and skate knee pads. The helmet will be invested in upon arrival in resort.
Also thought about stuffing the rear stash pocket on my jacket full of crap but i decided it would stink. |

I have wrist guards, compact shorts and a helmet...
Compact shorts were a god send.. I'd perfected the bruised ass waddle before i got those.
and wrist guards, i have some Dakine ones and they're pretty good.
Only wear the helmet on occasions when i know il be doing something potentially head shattering, which isnt THAT often.
One of my mates had a spine protector...he looked like a teenage mutant ninja turtle.. too cool for school.*snort chuckle chuckle* |

Brain bucket and Wrist guards are my normal protection. I'll stick on the knee pads from time to time if i'm trying something new where I reckon I mite need them.
Need to invest in ass pads and back protector - too many close calls with Boarslides!!! |

Dainese lid, dainese hard shorts and Biomex inserts on my Levels gloves. Do need some new wristguards for my new gloves though.
I used to wear volleyball knee pads, but I never fall on my knees (famous last words). Now I just wear those for volleyball
I also have a Red back protector, but to be honest don't wear it as much as I should. |

do you get involved in man-on-man beach volleyball sessions, all oiled up and muscle-bound, to the soundtrack of "Playing with the Boys"
"C'mon Mav, just one more game"
"Woooah, Goose you pussy!" |
