Vaujuny and Oz en osians are on different sides of the mountain to Alpe D'Huez. Not too sure what the facilities are like in those villages... but the runs down to them are fun
Bens Bus is definitely the easiest way to transfer from Grenoble. |

When I went to L2A I wasn't blown away, but then I've only stepped into a park a handful of times. Being more interested in it now, I think I'd enjoy it more.
As Dunx said though, the run back to the town at the end of the day is either tedious or steep (fun if you're not bothered by that though). Flats are also fairly prevalent and I really didn't enjoy them, though I did learn to ride flats much better and carry my speed whilst there!
Based on reviews/the little research I've done before on ADH I'd probably go there instead.
Ps, Take the day trip to Serre Che, you won't regret it! Went there for a week this year and thoroughly enjoyed it! Or just go riding there instead! Love the place! Park isn't amazing though if your partners going to spend the week in one. |

Agreed! Went to Serre Che in march and loved it. No flat sections, girlfriend who struggles to carry speed never had to unstrap once. Park was pretty small but they did have a video zone which was cool. Also a natural park/freestyle run called melezone - although it was closed by the end of march so didn't get to go through.
Main downside was a lot of narrow tree runs that link different pistes, however this did not bother me. |
