I know how to get there if there are a number of people thinking of driving...

Lets get a van, lets say an LDV, rebuild the engine, take all the seats out, put a table in, put some seats back in, add a camp bed, cover it in stickers (the van, not the bed), especially a massive SCUK one, fill with kit and people, drive it to Alp D'Huez, all the way, without stopping, or changing driver.

Drive down the mountain, in snow, with one snowchain on, hot brakes, burning clutch and all the way home.

We can then give the van to someone else, to drive to another resort, where it would break down and be abandoned...

And surely they'd take the giant SCUK sticker off after trashing the chassis and engine numbers, so we didn't get an irate call from the French police. Surely...
