| Doesn't look like Jeds place is running for 12/13. So if anyone's interested in a house share then get in touch |

Hey Ash,
A friend of mine who I met out in Fernie last season is actually coming out the same time as me too now, so we can get a British shred crew together - would be awesome to ride. PM me your details, maybe facebook or something and well hook up.
Whats your plans on accomodation? |

Depends if i get made redundant or not.
Luckily i've made it very expensive for the company i work for to do that so at the end of the year when they relocate all my work to Birmingham they either have to promote me or give me the £25 large to get rid of me.
That should be novemeber time when i find out one way or another.
If i do get laid off i've got something else already lined up but i'll be taking the season off first and Fernie looks top of the list for me at the minute. |

| was thinking about a week or 2 in Fernie as have been highly recommended Canadian Powder Tours chalet there - any idea when the season really starts? I'm thinkin of xmas/new-year time to reduce the number of holidays I'll need to use with work - do they usually have decent snow that early? |

Ash - just added you. Youll be out there quite a bit before me, so you can end up showing me some sweet spots! (make sure you hit 'hot chocolate' on the milkway - youll know it when you see it!).
Derek - I did 2 weeks last year over xmas and new years. Powder was pretty decent, but the real pow days with serious dumps happen a bit later from what Im told. My last couple of days were a bit icy, but the rest of the trip was awesome with xmas day having 20cm fresh. Either way, get up high or into the trees and youll find some decent snow. |

We are a norwegian couple staying in fernie 2012/13 season. If anybody want to meet up, either at the hill or in town that would be nice.
Spent the 06 season in Fernie, and looking forward to going back!! |
