Stuck between Customs( price) or Missions / K2 Formuals??? or anything else better around this price point??
I have big feet, size 12 Burton Ambush boots??? will that make any differance to which bindings to get??
i am not into freestyle or park just all mountain freeride i suppose??

Na, forces aint that stiff, they're the perfect all mountain binding.
390's are good but have a bit of a freestyle sway, still a decent all round binding though.
Formulas are awesome too for all mountain.
Never tried customs, but i wouldnt entertain them over forces or formulas.
Personally from your list i'd be looking at either the forces or formulas, and if you can get forces for around £100 then that'd be me sold. Try find them in store somewhere and take your boots along to check they fit ok. Different boots fit differently depending on their footprint size and how wide the heel is |

Ive recently been in your position..
I was looking at;
Union Contacts
Union Forces
Rome 390Bosses
Rome The Mob
I was aiming more towards freestyle & dome riding.. but heres my input.
3 of my friends rode Unions. 2x Contact rides and 1 x forces.
The guy who rides the forces loves them.. the 2 x contact riders hated theres and both complained of foot pain from the toe straps. After doing research on the Unions it seems this seasons toe caps were sh1t with alot of complaints. Union are changing there straps for 2013.
The rome stuff was a dark subject as reviews were hard to come by.
I bought the Mobs and love them. Seriously comfy.. lots of flex & play and nice adjust ability.
The 390s if following the same quality of the Mobs.. would be a good set of bindings!
I rode Burton Missions before changing.. they hurt my calf.. but the straps were comfy as hell!
Hope this helps!
P.S. If you got for the Romes, check E-bay.. a pair on there going weekly for 60-80£. |

| I know I'm just going to make things worse, but have you considered Ride Capo's, I bought some for my Bataleon Goliath a few months back and they've been awesome so far. Only used them for about 15-20 hours in domes so far but they've been really comfy with a nice flex. Bomb proof construction with the aluminium frame too! |

| The union forces seem perfect except for toe strap issue, Rome 390 seem to fall apart especially paint, k2 formulas not as good reviews, burton missions not a lot of tech compared to oylthers complaints about ratchets..... HELP!!! Do I save 30 and just but some customs |

Union havent really changed them for 2013, they tweaked the shape of the open toe strap and made the inside more grippy, almost identical to current season |

They're all great bindinga and you can't go wrong with any of them.
If you're really struggling to decide just toss a coin. You'll win which ever you end up with. Like I said earlier though, just make sure your size 12 boats will fit into them
Regarding the Forces toe straps, I've ridden them with this years new toe strap and they are fine, they are an improvement on the previous years straps, which were also fine, as long as you line them up correctly.
Anyone who thinks they're uncomfortable must have them cranked down way too tight. You only need a snug hold, not a toe crushing vice like grip |

I've had my 390s and now Targas since 2007 and the only thing that ever fell apart was the paint. If the colours that important then you'll have an issue but otherwise they're a great binding, super adjustable and very comfy. I always buy whatever colour is cheapest in the sales anyway, they look wrong but they ride right. |
