| Hi people i've go my mitts on 30 buy one get one free passes for alton towers and was thinking if a few people fancy it about heading up there on the saturday daytime. anyone fancy it? |

In all seriousness, no one is ever in a fit state to be at Alton Towers on the Saturday, namely as we're all hung over, drinking again, eating, drinking tea, playing rounders, on a tramoline, talking, dancing, trying to make a broken gazebo into a serviceable kite boarding kite, taking funny pictures of Vicki who is asleep, eating BBQ, going to the pub...
People did used to organise wakeboarding/paintballing etc but people can't be bothered, rounders worked really well last year. |

I felt breathless and like I was going to have a heart attack just playing the rounders last year!
Though that's probably lack of general fitness rather than drinking a lot the night before. |

| Yeah, the rounders took it out of me more than snowboarding last year... possibly due to my rather over competitive streak. |

Trick is to miss the ball and take it easy like I did.
The wakeboarding used to be fun when we were at the lake. We did paintball a few years on the trot, but general consensus was "go away, my head hurts". |

Is anyone up for it that has been to a summer bash before? Friday is the messy one, no one manages anything for quite a few hours on Saturday....
You would be better trying for the Sunday if you want to go. |

Unfortunately coz I left late Saturday morning, last year I didn't get to play rounders.. So I'm totally up for that this time round! As much as I love theme parks, I don't think it makes any sense to do this after a crazy Friday night in the field!
I'll tell you one thing I wouldn't mind doing though... Paintballing! But then I'm easily pleased so sitting around drinking again on Saturday sounds good for me! |
