It may only be the top half of the mountain that has cover, but it is genuinely in the best condition it has been all season! The Cas Headwall was faceshot after faceshot after faceshot Very Happy

Thats still too far away to have an accurate idea of what will happen, but it looks like its going get mild or a few days and then return to cold weather towards the end of the week.

The winterhighland forums and public reports are definitely the best way to get an idea of what is happening on the hill... and to be fair to Cairngorm, their daily reports have been pretty accurate since the snow returned.

Yesterday really was picture perfect, There is no way to tell tho if the conitions will hold until mid May unfortunately, As the prediction today was meant to be bright and sunny but I heard it was snowing again, I think even in the middle of winter is difficult to predicit the weather in Scotland never mind the very end of the season Smile

rode sat/sun in mostly glorious sunshine with some snow showers here and there. it was a bit firm on saturday but surface conditions were vastly improved on sunday with a few cm fresh.

great little park set up and the new piste down the coronation wall coupled with the cas run is a really good blast - pick of the bunch on sunday.
