What a great day!!

The knob at work who constantly takes the piss by coming into work late, doing whatever he can to get out of doing work and just generally being an arrogant little prick, didn't come into work today as he eventually rang in sick (baring in mind he is on holiday tomorrow).

My boss called my whole team into a meeting room this morning to tell us that he will not be coming back. BOOM!! He'd taking the piss just one too many times and FINALLY my boss as had enough!!!

I will not miss his endless mind-numbing chat, his ridiculous "wannabe American" laugh and general annoying-ness!!! Just gotta get us a new 2nd line IT Support now.. who cannot be any worse than he was!!!

whoop whoop

This is good news Vicky! I've worked with my fair share of people like that, though sadly the culture at my place means they get promoted rather than sacked. I'm hoping for some good work news myself over the next week or so. Crossed fingers.

Unfortunately it might not be the last spot.
I've gone down with a serious case of 'back knack' So i'm happy today because they let me out of hospital yesterday, but sad because baring a miracle i'm going to have to miss sunday Sad
Also sad because no more morphine.

Getting considerably better every day so should be back sooner rather than later.

Well not exactly happy, but it made me smile anyway.

My other half is a teacher and there's been this little p**** who's been annoying and difficult for the entire two years of the course. Now its exam time, and my wife is getting to go through the essays that were submitted as part of the coursework element. Unsurprisingly these days, the chap has been trawling the internet and basically copying and pasting most of the essay from web pages. What makes it even better is that he was obviously following advice and putting footnotes in with references, but of course the references are the websites that he's copied them from, so my OH has been going through each reference, taking screen shots of each section that he's pasted, and sent it to him and his parents who are apparently very strict! As Nelson in the Simpsons would say - "Ha Ha!"
