It was a bit like that in Tignes last week. Saturday being the best day with knee deep powder, sun for most of the day and hardly anyone around. We even saw two older French women having a fight in a mountain restaurant at lunchtime. A superb days entertainment.
Being late April I can't believe how much snow fell over the week, although we had such bad visibility some days it was impossible to see more than a few feet ahead at times. The two powders days were excellent though and those two days alone made it a memorable week.
Woke up last Sunday to leave for England only to find a fresh new dump of snow. Frustrating for us but somebody got lucky |
