Well did anyone on here get up to Glencoe today? How was it?
I've never boarded on the hills in Scotland, but thought I'd grab this chance before it all disappears. Any advice for someone who's only used to French resorts? |

| Was there yesterday it was a bit rocky. If you went at the moment you would think it was pretty poor. Which really isn't the case. Glencoe is my favourite place to ride in Scotland love riding up there but yesterday was a little bit disappointing. My board looks like it has been grated. The uplift track was stony and narrow. |

Thanks for that Tommy. Sadly I didn't read your entirely accurate assessment before I went. Ther were rocks aplenty. In fact the T-bar path was the best covered area. So I didn't stay long.
None the less I'm keen to try it again next season. |

| Cairngorm was far better. We went up yesterday and conditions were really good. I hiked to the summit and got freshies all the way down to the piste. Had a really good day. |

They are... although they're looking at a 10-15C temp swing after the weekend, so its a case of use it or lose it. |

Come the weekend it will likely be in the best condition up top that its been all season other than the flurry mid december. If you do decide to go, remember that at most you will get to mid mountain, but up top by the sounds of things will be go anywhere. There is certainly great times to be had up there though, if i could i'd be there as i was the past two weekends, sadly im down in Glasgow this weekend. May take my board though in case i can squeeze a half day in on the way past on sunday |

Just back from cairngorm, can tell you boys it was one of the best days boarding iv had up there.
Off piste in the morning was epic. The gun barrel was left un-pisted, so many natural kickers and drops, just awesome. Unreal to think its may next week and they have so much powder !!
If my legs and arms didn't feel like they were about to drop off I'd be back up tomorow |
