What size of board are you thinking of getting? Because the Gnu changes stiffness as it goes up in size, it starts at a 5 going all the way upto a 7 for the 161.5W ,but the middle sizes are 5.5-6 , making it a not very stiff board at all when you consider the park pickle is 5.5-6.5 depending on size. Thus making the Riders choice only a tad slightly stiffer board than the very playful park pickle.

Yes I looks a The T'Rice but its stiffer again, more of a charging board and I would prefer something a bit more playful.

I was thinking of a 154.5cm Riders Choice. I am 78-80kg (175lb) and the 154.5 is rated up to 200.

Another spanner for your works here...have you tried any YES boards?? i had a demo on the Basic this wknd and oh my god its such a fun board! I know its entry level but the Greats is a faster version with thier take on magnetraction, im getting one of them now me thinks lol. (also has an assymetric side cut and they claim that the base on it is one of the fastest around, which the staff at tsa seem to back up from their testing)

Well, I think I need to admit defeat. Can't find a Proto CT in stock anywhere. I found one in Canada but the company didn't reply to my email.

I had a quick look at the Great's board, does look good too.

I found a Riders Choice for super cheap - not the asymm pickle version though.

Would 154 would be going a tad small on the riders choice for all mountain use?

I'm after the same boards still:
Attack for the EC2 with less pressure on the tip and tail.
Riders Choice for stinterered base and regular magnatraction rather than the mellow stuff.

Love next year's graphics for both which is a bonus Smile Not going to the states till the end of the year.

Testing is not an option really, I am 2 hours away from Braehead Xscape and there is only a TSA there.

Derek I was liking what you were saying about the Evo until the bit about the flex in comparison to the WWW. I have a WWW for indoor and playing around on.

I have emailed a couple of companies (including NS) about the 2013 Proto, looks like it will be shipping from NS late Aug/Sept. So in shops late Sept/Oct. It will be a gamble if I can get it before my relatives leave.

Any opinions on the GNU flex?

Not tried any of the others but have a 154 Proto and it's great! If you're ever down at Braehead when i'm there you're welcome to try it out Smile

Cheers Flash, where did you get your one?

Stee, I think 154.5 is perfect for me at 78-80kg, next size up is 157.5 on the GNU. I think they are meant to be ridden a little shorter.

Can't really find any Yes Great Beauties in the US either, although there is a 153cm for 269$.

Brand new from Ebay last November for a great price!

I'd ask NS to source you one as they do a find a stockist thing.

Or ask on snowboardingforum as i've seen some been located by posters, from their local shops that for e.g. dont do online sales.

I do have a post up there and no one has came forward. What price did you get it for if you don't mind me asking? (feel free to PM).

I have also asked NS but they were unable to help.
