Right, I'm not into rails and boxes... have no interest in them at all. Don't mind hitting the odd kicker but the main thing I'm into is going as fast as I can
nd carving as hard as I can.

So now at chillfactore, park features are up on one side and tomorrow and Monday avalanche is on the other.

Where's the f**king space for anything else?

ah ok... I'm still not prepared to use it at the same time as avalanche. Half a slope doesn't really appeal.

Going to book at x-scape instead. OK it costs twice as much (with the current CFE offers) but twice the slope :p

I'd assumed that both were on because the park features were all out yesterday.

Enjoy your 8 second runs :/

If there are no features out I struggle to stay entertained in a fridge for more than half an hour.

if I've got the full slope then I'm usually happy, even without features (but, yeah, they're a blessing when they're out) - quite happy to work on flatland tricks and try to get my switch as comfortable as i can. Presses into or out of spins, etc and then get the same combo working switch, I'm quite happy falling, rolling about and scratching my head as to which edge I caught and when. But, if it's only 1/2 the slope then you've only got about 10m of width (after poma-lift and a safe m or 2 are excluded each side) so it gets pretty icy quickly, before you think about a greater concentration of ppl (same no of ppl in a smaller space). Not to mention the padding from the lift and groups of learners at the lip (not saying they're bad, but without the other side of the slope to use, it can get v busy at times), which pretty much nukes any chance of a safe huck off the lip. All in all makes the place less safe which makes it less fun...

When theres a 100% risk of avalanche avoid the affected slope.
Regretably this now applies indoors as well as out. Such a waste of a bank holiday weekend, and a stark contrast with hemel which hosted the bash!!
Looking forwards to return of permanent features in 2 weeks time.

Hemel was sick! much love! I haven't seen the avalanche yet. I see they are looking for people to employ for putting it away though...

Just been at castleford...seems so small compared to cfe. Also more expensive for some reason.

The fact they've got their model wearing goggles indoors pretty much sums it up the Chill Factore these days Rolling Eyes
