| Already pretty slushy low down by early afternoon, morning conditions are nice and overall the snow is pretty good. Should still be plenty of snow (I hope!) but don't expect to be waist deep in powder! |

I was in Tignes LeLac last week (staying at the always excellent Dragon Lodge) and conditions were what I'd call 'spring sun 'n' slush'
In the mornings up until about 11-12am the pistes were very icy, though there was still plenty of snow covering on the pisted runs. From about noon-onwards the snow got a bit softer and slushier with the sun facing slopes being the best.
Come 3-4pm you could easily ride everywhere, with the lower slopes being very slushy. Runs down from the Vorab glacier to Val Claret were good fun, and the slopes on the Val side were particularly quiet.
A lot of the ground off piste was looking very bare and brown all over the Espace Killy area
Take suntan lotion - high factors, and quite a bit if it. You will burn! I was riding in just a wool base layer/thin mid-layer and my Analog hoodie in the mornings, and just the base layer and hoodie in the afternoon.
I imagine by the 8th it'll be much the same, but hotter. |

i'd say it'll change quite rapidly over the next couple of days, its getting colder and probably snowier, it should be pretty good |

| I was there last week too, so sunny and nice!! But yes, avoid early morning (ice), the heat softened it up by 10-11 though... I heard there was snow and colder conditions for this week, so it should be good. |

Just got back from Val C on Sunday. Still pretty good conditions, like some folkes have said above, it was getting slushy towards end of the day, but loads of fun was still to be had . Looked on snow-forecast yesterday and they are getting a bit of freshies and lower temps this week so should be good dude. If you pay for me I'll come with you, I've blown all of my this seasons budget on two great trips already. |

Thanks all for the above.
I'm going with someone relatively new (she can link turns and get down in one piece) ... any recommendations on nice wide slopes to start her on at the beginning of the week?
Thanks |

| In Le Lac, you can lap Palafour few times, it's nice and wide and really easy, other then that, take the gondola (Aeroski) up to Toviere from Le Lac, go down creux and few blues and reds down to Le Daile, from there you can grab funicular, run 3J is realy mellow and takes you to Borsat Express from which there are few really mellow runs or you can continue to the right and end up at the bar called La Folie Douce which is a banging Apres Ski Bar. |

P.s. if you are in Val C take the Les Lanches lift up and go down the Double M, it's a red but it is wide and still quiet mellow. |

If your friend prefers easy blues/reds, from VC go up the Tichot and Col du Palet lifts and lap the Grattalu and Carline pistes, or from LeLac laps of the Palafour are fun (I ♡ P4).
If you can get over to the Val side the blue runs around the Glacier Express/Datcha lifts are a lot of fun too. |

| If you want to start really gently, get the Fresse lift from Val Claret then drop down into the area of greens below Col de Fresse. Long, wide and rolling, and often quiet. Lovely. |
