just booked the performance and flatland social shred for march 20th 
really looking forward to improving my riding and doing the fancy stuff i cant do yet |

I'm on ollies and flatland on Saturday at MK  Wife and I are nervous about our first freestyle steps, but so looking forward to it!
Do people tend to start out with the lessons then move on to the social shreds? And is there any benefit to repeating the lessons (sure we'll suck at first ) |

it just comes down to slope time and practice, the more you repeat things the easier they become. if I had the time and money i'd spend time with a coach every week!
quick edit.....yes you will suck at first...but then so does everyone |

Nice, I reckon it'll be a monthly thing till next season. Plus maybe the odd recreational session when it's quiet where I just stay switch Snowbadger gonna have to try to keep up |

| Come back for more definately, the way these sessions work is that you say what tricks you want to do- so if you learn a trick on saturday, and don't want to do it the next time then just say!! The social shred's at hemel are really great fun, probably the most fun I've had in a long time. I'll see you on Sat stee. |

We had a great time at Maverix. They seemed to cater for everyone - wife and I got presses and ollies which was what we wanted to do, and even had a couple of tries on the box (first was a disaster, but almost landed the second try).
We were the noobs of the group, but it didn't matter Some of the people that'd been boarding longer got their first butters, boardslides etc. so people weren't held back. We'll be doing a little practise and going again for sure!

I second and third and fourth all of the above opinions in the posts about Maverix. I've been on a few of their courses as I've progressed with my riding and each time learned more and in a fun and relaxed way. Kudos to Jay and his entire team.

| Got to agree with the other guys. I was at the last social shred with the Maverix guys and it was great fun. Really chilled out and great for learning tricks to do when there is no freestyle features. I'll be booking on the 20th when I get paid on Friday so I shall see you all there |
