I'm undertaking a minor update of the site tonight. Hopefully you won't notice! If you do, please email any issues to me at dunx@...
For the technically inclined...
It's a move from PostNuke 0.7.6.2 to 0.7.6.3
Later in the week I'll be moving to 0.7.6.4.
Hopefully before Christmas we'll be going to Zikula 1.0.2, but again, I hope you won't notice too much. Once we're on Zikula we can start making all the functional changes we've discussed previously.
The first things will probably be user galleries and a proper shop.
Then we move to a better and wider slope directory and then uber Profiles. |

Hmm... well that broke it for a while. They've introduced a new security measure that stops the forum, the news, slope, camp and event calendar working. I worked around the later problems, but couldn't get the forum working easily, so I disabled the security enhancement. Not ideal, but will do for now.
Anyway, apologies for the lack of forum for precious minutes. |

Good that it went down late at night though as opposed to afternoon
Out of curiosity, between what times on average does the site have the most traffic? |

That's why I make the changes late at night 
Sleep comes second to your good selves after all.
According to Google Analytics... er... they've changed the reports and I can't find it. It used to be most people were using it first thing at work, then lunchtime and declining towards midnight. |

Understatement! It's taken me over 12 hours to make 2 changes you haven't even noticed, except when they went wrong.
The "trouble" with SCUK is that I can't really afford for it to go wrong. The Zikula changes will be undertaken on the test site first.
I've just done similar for some forum tweaks this morning. I'll be installing those tonight, but again... you shouldn't notice! |
