SnowBombing party for the WB11!!!
Posted 17 November 2010 - 2:22pm on Freeski Club UK
A friend of Starski has organised for a SnowBombing party in Morzine on Tuesday 18th Jan. It’s yet to be advertised and so we thought it may be worth offering it as a night out to the SCUK group.
A SCUK invasion of SnowBombing?
Would seem a shame to miss a party whilst we're in town though. SCUK T-shirts may be mandatory ;)
Urban Knights and BBC's Radio 1 MistaJam confirmed at present. The ticket cost is around 15 euros per person and Edleron may be able to reserve if there's interest.

Might be fun
I have always wanted to learn how to wax my snowboard properly... Mind if I tag along!? I can bring earplugs just incase we can here any bass that might be particularly low frequency : )
Might be fun
Don't forget the vicks as well.
Otherwise you could just sit at home stinking of piss.
I know what I'd be doing....
I would attend that for sure

I don't mind sitting at home getting pissed on. Wait. What.
My little sister is doing a season in Les Arcs

That's probably a great relief for you, and a real shame for her...

Ant, I'll tag along def... if I can walk ;)
Someone asked me last night if all snowboarders listened to metal, they'd got this impression after buying Shaun White Snowboarding for the Wii.
My answer was that they should do.
I will bring some Jack Daniels, Axis bold as love and Led Zeppelin 2.
Maybe some er?... Journey... you know... maybe just pop 'dont stop believing' on for the actual waxing stage.
Ha Ha! Any kind of Rock is good Dunx, but yes, discussing the progression of rock while listening to said progression is always a good thing!
Maybe bring some episodes of the old grey whistle test too...
Marillion. Genius. They are still one of Germany's best loved bands, behind The Scorpions and of course nobody will top David Hasselhoff. Ooh theres an idea?
You obviously haven't heard the other Prog Rock bands of the Marillion era - if we played The Enid or Pallas at the waxing party I think everyone would happily go to the SnowBombing party. And even I haven't heard of Porcupine Tree!
'Don't Stop Believing" mind, might appeal to the Glee fans of both camps...
Yeah, I did think who are Porcupine Tree!?
Ahhh... Dont Stop Believing. The moment Rock peaked. The wax party is going to be THE place to be in Morzine that night. Maybe Journey themselves will turn up and perform. They have not aged well at all mind. They look like they are melting.
Snowbombing! VS SCUK WAX PARTY - feat Journey and Porcupine Tree.
Sold.
Maybe not.
