It seems like forever since I checked this forum. How many of you will be departing from St Pancras?

I thought we could arrange a meet up so people can all come to a certain spot on the day and SCUK people will be there. I realise we will split on the train but be fun right?

Also do we have to change train at Paris? Thats the only bit im confused about I should go read my emails lol

I'm with you on that one Nick, mainly as we're on a different train to you all on the way out, but we've also upgraded for the way back, free champers, food and bigger/better seats, yes please!

We're (me & my bro) up for this.

What time is everyone planning to get to St Pancras?

OK. Well perhaps a loose arrangement of meeting at Carluccio's (next to the big bronze statue) if we get time?

I'll be getting on in Ashford. Bit of a ball ache to be honest as I've got to drive there first.

Yeah I know! Haha.

Changed my mind, I'm getting a train there. Even more of a ball ache as I'll be there two hours early and have three changes to make with the board bag. Fun times..but it's £60 return instead of nearer £100 to drive to Ashford.

...and you can drink on trains...

Anybody struggling with lugguage for the Eurostar? I have one of these that I need a review writing about for SCUK and I'm happy to ship it out as I think it would work quite well on the Eurostar if you don't have a board bag. All you need to do in return is take some photos of it in use and write the review Smile

I'll bring it to resort if nobody uses it on the train as I'm driving, but let me know.

I also think it would work really well for people riding in the UK who get the train to their indoor or dryslope.

Wear your board at 45 degrees on your back.

I guess it would be squeeze through the train door and walking down the carriage.

Looks like a skateboard backpack updated for a snowboard.

I haven't read the whole thread, but it looks like you lot plan to get to resort about 7.30am. I'm driving and I expect we'll be there closer to 9am, but we'll see how that goes.

I'm just finding out what time we can get access to the apartment luggage store, so we can get changed; I doubt we'll be able to get in to our apartments that early. Assuming you've all booked your lift passes to start on the Saturday, then we'll be collecting our lift passes from the Wasteland rep in resort (Jenny I think). I've told them what time we're arriving and unless I hear any diffferent I assume they'll see us at the apartments.

The train (#9096) leaves London at 20:09 & they recommend you get there/ check-in an hour before if you've got ski equipment.

Yeah, I did too.

I reckon originally (before we all booked) the trains were running later and it's an automated email they've not turned off since.

I got one too a week ago or so...when I checked, all still seemed fine so I just assumed it was an old message. I'll head for the big bronze statue when I get there a little before 7 like someone suggested earlier
