Right, just had it confirmed.

Quote:
The information is standardised that was sent out, as we normally charge carriage for the coaches but I presume this was not amended for your group – who were getting free carriage.

Will also confirm the same is true for the SCUK Winter Bash to Mayrhofen.

On Friday they sent an email with the trip voucher which included the hotel and today they emailed the coach pickup points. If you don't have those better give them a call.

I just called them, they said the pickup point was discussed with the group leaders and take it up with them. So I guess I am stuck with Egham and a mile walk from the station to the university pickup point. Egham station is connected to Waterloo, 40min journey time every 15 min or so. She also could not confirm if there are lessons or not.

Coaching is an added bonus extra on the winter bash Harry so I wouldn't be too miffed about there being none for the early bash... especially considering there are only 10 people. If you want some coaching then have a word with Alliance maybe?

Dunx, I will have a big rucksack and carry my board on a sleeve bag to the bud, otherwise I won't be able to haul it there. Would that be ok?

I've already answered these questions... free carriage. coaching was never part of the Early Bash and the pickup point has not changed. Only 6 people too... if only the snow had come a week earlier I think there would have been a few more!

No response from them about arranging Parking in resort. Been waiting nearly 3 weeks now Sad

When I called them originally with some queries they advised me it was something they would arrange for us (a factor that helped us to decide to book), so when I finally booked I contacted them to arrange it. I know its a while off yet but I need to know that parking is sorted, because if they change their mind and cant sort out it causes a problem for us if we are driving. Aside from it being a problem though, I think they really should have replied by now.

Hey all!

having read all the threads about the Winter Bash I quite fancy giving it a go. I've emailed Outgoing but is there anything else I need to do?

You could get the coach from Leeds.. £125 I think.

A few of us and myself are flying to Munich and getting the coach from there. I think that option came to about £180 in total for me (flying from Manchester with Lufthansa).

Expect about £1000 for a week everything in. it will be cheaper but i always suprise myself with how much less it is Smile

As soon as you know when/where you are going book your flights, airport hotel, airport parking and everything else with another pay cheque.
This way its a cheap holiday when you have paid for it over 4 months. its just spending money of €300 that you find in your last pay Smile
Real feel is €300 for your boarding holiday :-)

Sound - i'll book asap. I take it it's not just for students?! (I'm 33!)
Anyone know where the Manchester pick up is then?
And did anyone resolve the luggage allowance question?
Cheers

Its all good Jonny... 33,23,43... lots of different ages and people on the Bash, it is what makes it so good.

Think Dunx resolved luggage. Result being, they will have plenty of space for you and your kit. Think it all went a bit hay wire on the Early Bash (I think)

Will the choach have AC power points for peoples gadgets?

Sorry if these have been asked before Embarrassed
