I've asked about the accommodation names, but they way they're block booked means we don't necessarily find out straight away.

It'll be up as news later today and will also go out in tonight's newsletter.
* Please note your booking will incur a 2.5% booking fee.
is that going to be in addition to the prices advertised on here then? Know that is not much but hidden charges suck.

It's not hidden if it tells you upfront though is it?
They say they're going to let me know asap. As I keep saying, it's simply the way the resort allocate their rooms to big groups. They say they'll have n available, but don't let you know which n. Frustrating I know.

It is if its in tiny print and not included in the package price advertised on here.

So are they saying they will eventually make it clearer then? Im not going to book unless I know what I am definately getting. Dont want to find myself on some student holiday (for a not so student price).

Agreed.
The pricing on the bash information pages should be adjusted to reflect the ACTUAL cost of booking, not the RyanAir esq "advertise it at bottom rate, than shaft them with charges" price.
2.5% of ~1K = £25. That is not an insignificant amount to be slapped with on a booking form.
We don't think we'll have an issue with the number of places, so there really is no real rush to book.
From the descriptions of the majority of the accommodation options given, I would assume they're not student-like accommodation (balconies, spas, etc.), but likewise appreciate the reluctance to book without knowing. We have been asking them for months, but as I keep saying, they simply don't know. I just looked online to see Hotel Strauss was 4* and went for the 4* option and hope that's where I am, but I'm not to fussed where I sleep TBH ;)
Like I say, we're on it and keep the queries coming.
Sorry, I didn't mean it to sound as harsh as it did.
But, I was considering the 2 week, 4* option... So with the extras and coach travel, thats a booking fee of nearly £40 - which is half the fee I was planning to pay for the 3 days of tuition.
That seems a little unreasonable for a "booking fee" if you ask me....

I have asked Outgoing to keep an eye on these threads though, so questions can be answered directly instead of me having to act as intermediary all the time.

Booking fees often just cover the cost of card processing. I know they're a pain and seem unjustified especially when you don't have any option but to pay them!
does it matter?
as much as i would love to do the a&s, i'm gonna be shattered getting a 0700 flight. it'll also cost me £70 extra...
