We met Outgoing at the ski show on Friday and they did say the final info was coming soon. Includes this and the hotel details for the Winter Bash.
The delay was caused by somebody on here suggesting Jardin de la Balme wasn't a very good place to stay, so they've taken a while to find alternative group accommodation.
There will be a heap of students in resort at the same time as this trip, again through Outgoing. Whether that's good or bad depends on your PoV I guess ;) It does mean there's some cracking club nights planned if that's your bad and if it's not then you can be pretty certain the slopes will be deserted early in the morning

Hopefully they'll get it sorted soon.
Incompetence is one thing, but dishonesty is something else. No criticism of SCUK intended, but Outgoing really are a shower
I'm sure the actual trips will be as good as ever, but the booking hassle is obviously making some people think twice about going.
Still, the booking bit seems to be live now as they're asking for a deposit, so I might have to see if I can book
Update: Still a few bugs in the booking system yet!
I have asked them to add the apartment name to their booking form, but good to go I reckon.
Now... Brits Bash...
Oddly, the email confirmation I got back stated :
–––––––––––––––––––––
SCUK Early Bash (7 nights)
Accommodation details:
Nights 1 to 6 - Check-in: 10/12/2011 Check-out: 16/12/2011
Val d'Isere Self Catered Accommodation, Val D'Isere
–––––––––––––––––––––
Er, surely seven nights accommodation would mean checking-in on the 10th and out on the morning of Saturday 17th (not Friday 16th..?)
I've sent an email asking them to clarify the situation. Will keep you posted.
I'll be booking soon and going alone so you won't be the only one.
Are the room shares with just scuk or could it be anyone including uni students?
Where they are actually looks really good to me.
Trying to see if it's cheaper getting a train to London and then going by coach or flying and getting the transfer.
Still not heard back from Outgoing yet.
"Thanks for the email.
Yes we have noticed the date error and we are sorry for the inaccuracy. This was just a mistake on the confirmation email and has now been sorted. The correct dates are 10th – 17th December. This may not show on the booking however these are the dates of the trip,
Sorry for the inconvenience,"
So it seems to be all sorted
