Well, the ones we've adopted/befriended anyway...
...and after her taster lesson at Hemel she might convert anyway (if only for the soft boots!)
Gina, take up snowboarding ;)
Guiding day on Thursday was awesome - helped me break the 50mph barrier!!! I found the conditions better than I was told, really liked the area and think I will go back when they get a decent dump. Was also lucky enough to board on Sunday and finally managed to find some half decent off piste to play with.
All in all I would recommend the week to anyone, newbie or gnarly semi-pro alike, thanks again
The guiding was awesome, albeit a bit on the terrifying side (particularly thursday). I remember asking one of the boardercross guys how to check and control your speed on the bad icy patches and I got the following response: "(you don't, so) just go with it". xD
All the rest of the organised events were good fun too. I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone as well, its been brilliant!
One happy chappy,
D

p.s. Aaaaand SKI! (assume position... he he)
I wouldn't of let them sacrifice you Gina! You're one of the nice skiiers!
p.s. Aaaaaaaaaaaand Ski!
I would really like to say it was an awesome week, thanks to the 2 dudes on the guiding session on tuesday who were pretty helpful with some of my bad habits, more importantly Dave from Mint Snowboarding as he was absolutely ace on my lessons and on Marc's and I reccomend that if you going to morzine/avoriaz to have lessons with Mint as they deffinately know their stuff.
It was awesome to get some freestyle in, even though it included smashing my knee into a frozen halfpipe but it was worth it.
Staff at the hotel starlight were awesome especially with my own fussy dietary requirements. I won't even mention the idiot member of staff who got annoyed after being asked to turn the music down so approx 20 of us could watch futurama in the bar and they proceded to turn off the TV and turn the music up... knobhead. Lost revenue in drinks money that was.
And apologies to the staff member who walked in on me to clean the room whilst I was naked lol
As always the Itinerary is getting more full with each time the bash is held.. will be interested to see what is added in on the next winter bash. Start planning now and if u need help dunx, just ask.. I do activities for a living.
and would also like to thank Marc for the freaking awesome birthday cake I recieved today! very appropriate I think.

Don't soften the moment. There were two naked men in that room. Oh the ideas that must have been going through that poor guys mind...
and now also the minds of everyone on the forum
Quails eggs and caviare anybody?
AAAHHHH YES, how frustrating was that??? "sorry guys, music comes on at 9.30" Pfft, whatever.
I think an important character should be mentioned for providing "some" scukers with a whole week of laughter. DR ZOIDBERG, YOU RULE! *scuttles* whoop whoop whoop whoop whoop
Dunx if your going to attempt 'smug' at least spell it right!! ;P
Thanks to Dunx, Pocket, Elderon and the rest of the StarSki staff for making it a great trip, and hope we can do it again next year.
Dont know about you lot but i had some great laughs, but didnt laugh so much when the missus got on the blower after some one tagged me naked on Facebook

Apologies to Team Pants. I was SO Sh*t! Getting the Saturn question wrong is still bugging me.
Hope the casualties get well soon... Nick
Big thanks to Dunx, Pocket, Elderon and all the staff at StarSki.
It was a fun old time. Thanks to Dunx and the organising crew for getting it all together.
Big thanks to Skier Friend and Mountain Rescue for getting me drunk enough not to care, Jacks for putting me back together after a meltdown on day one, my tip top roomie for not snoring (much), Gilbert for still not killing me despite hating me calling her Gilbert, Paul and Marc for the slowest decent down a run ever and still laughing at the end of it, and of course, Skier Friend, for introducing me to the joys of riding with our very own skier.
Aaaaaannnnnd Ski.
I prefer to refer to it as 'over indulging in scenery' then calling it a slow decent
Thanks also to my roomies Ollie and Paul (the one who looks the twin of the guy they just charged with the Bristol murder. I would have posted a side by side mugshot by now, if I had use of both hands), the use of the laptop, letting me have the corner bed and being my luggage porter was a big help. everyone else for their help and advice also.
