Hi All
An unfortunate first post for me. I just bought a brand new board, but the edges have rust and it seems to have been waxed. like it was used for a day, waxed and resealed in the cellophane it came in. I informed the shop who said I could have a 10% discount or return it. it was already 40% off, I don't want the hassle of returning it and would like to keep it, but 10% off seems like too little for what is effectively a used board, plus I am worried that there is more underlying damage like the rust is a sign of weakness, worried if i keep it I might be regretting it come next season. looking closer it seems there is wax on the edges so it must have rusted before the re-wax so worried how deep rust might go, Any thoughts and advice appreciated. Thanks

We are a UK based Snowboard Manufacturer, but also offer board servicing when requested.
We are more than happy to take a look for you. But sounds like you'll need a regrind then a fresh wax. If you want to drop us an email of some pictures, so we can see what's best.
