For anyone getting to train out to Bourg, the the alcohol ban.
I was in St Pancras last night with time to kill before a train so went to ask the staff about the achohol ban for on the ski train. I started my sentences off with "Hi I'm getting the ski train In a few weeks..." and the guy immediately replied "please make sure you don't bring any alcohol at all, anyone found with smuggled drinks will be removed immediately and not allowed to travel".
I asked why they had bought the ban in... his response was... "it got out of hand last year, one carriage ended up on in a full on drunken sex orgy, people were so drunk they were doing it in front of strangers in the isle".
So youve been warned....

Hahahaha
Not worth trying to smuggle something on either :/
Mandatory I believe, which it why it's important to book extra legroom seats... I blame Eurostar for not having enough charging points - once peoples phones and pads run out of juice, they just get bored and resort to clusterf***ing in the aisles.
