You missed out Kayaking!

I've realised after spending last weekend in Marbella, that I LOVE sun. My skin feels great and doesn't dry out, I feel happier coz I can't get depressed by rain and miserable weather and I love just wearing shorts and tees.

Needless to say I'm very happy that (I hope) the last of the cold and depressing weather has come and gone (having said that I hear it's meant to get sh1tty again next week :-( ) BRING ON THE SUMMER!

Don't mind the cold and rain so much when mountain biking , but does stop me breaking out the bow which sucks

don't you end up cold and wet when kayaking regardless of the weather? Razz

Haha fair point. But it's awesome when the sun is shining, then you don't mind getting wet!

I'm looking forward to bbqs outside with family/ mates!

Surfing and wakeboarding, wakeskating & wakesurfing.
We came to snowboarding after years of wakeboarding cable and boat.
I thought more snowboarders would wakeboard especially at the cable where you've all the ramps boxes and sliders out 24 7

Nothing better on a scorching hot day than going down the lake having a bbq and having the best set of your life with all your mates shouting encouragement/abuse at you for sticking/failing to stick something new :-D

I skate more during the summer than in winter which is mainly confined to indoor ramp skating which is ok but when the summer comes I love late evening skate/drinking.

I also ride bikes all year round and this has become a slight obsession lately. bikes for different stuff, I have a 4x pump track bike, a Burly Enduro bike and a steel hardtail.

I climb and mountaineer all year too and boulder in the evenings after biking if out in the peak or scotland etc.. I have a rad trip planned for summer which involves riding in ardnamurchan to access some climbing should be quite an adventure and take 3 days.

Camping with friends and family.

I also have a son now which is ace and gives you endless opportunities for messing about.

Oh yes, in terms of activities, I'm gonna be bouncing around on my maverix jibber to get some practice in too. I had my first go on it last night, and its surprisingly good fun, and a good workout too!

I bought a kayak last year, and did a few lochs and what not in it - but looking forward to doing some rivers this year hopefully.

Also got a 6-speed gearbox kart tucked away, but its in need of an axle and in all honesty will probably be going up for sale this year as It just doesnt get used enough.

After a few years away from it, i'll probably be right back in to the car show scene this summer too.

Have said i'd also like to try wakeboarding and surfing at some point though - but I guess its all dependant on time and weather and spondoolas.

Used to kitesurf out of Hunnie though sold up as wasnt getting over there enough, still have a Blade 2 7.9m and a smaller 4m for use with my land board. Used to practically live at Santa Pod when I had my car and also have 2 mountain bikes sitting in the shed....really need to get out on them more and get myself fit again!

Never been in season. Haven't been away yet. So only the dome for me all year round. Not sure if I will get away next season either, buying a second house so all our money is going on that for now. We will see.

If only I could stay away from the dome for a few months then perhaps I could get away.
