Fancy yourself as the next Junior Pro Snowboarder champion?

Von Zipper are holding trials to find out!!

Extreme sports and fashion lifestyle eyewear brand Von Zipper are on the road again! They will be touring Europe with the VZ Trials, offering an amazing opportunity for the best youth riders aged 12 – 19, pro and amateur, to show off their talents on the slopes. The lucky winner will secure a place in the Billabong World Junior Pro in Les Deux Alpes, in March.

VZ will be visiting 15 stages across Europe: France, Spain, Switzerland, Netherlands, Italy, Finland, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Greece, Iceland, Poland, Sweden, and the United Kingdom, the winner of each stage will automatically qualify for the Billabong Junior Pro.

The search hits the UK on the 25th of February, at the Milton Keynes Xscape Snozone.

The slope style contest, judged by the Von Zipper Pro team riders, will include some of the most talented and respected pro’s in the world such as Magnus Sterner, Joel Strecker, Clara Villoslada and Jonny Barr.

9.00am begining of registrations
9.30am riders meeting
10.00am training
11.00am end of registrations & training. Begining of the contest
3.30pm end of the heats
4.00pm final
4.30pm end of the contest & chill out in the Snozone Bar with Jon Kennedy (DJ from Grand Central records)
5.30pm prize giving.

Dunx will be there for a while in the afternoon, so if you want any shots taking ask him when you see him.




This year Von Zipper is on the road again to visit different resorts in Europe. The number of stages has once again increased. There will be 15 different stages all over Europe.

The different stages will take place in France, Spain, Switzerland, Netherlands, Italy, Finland, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Greece, Iceland, Poland, Sweden and the United Kingdom. The winner of each stages will gain entry to the Billabong Pro Junior, a professional competition which belongs to the TTR (Ticket To Ride), the official round of the world championship of snowboarding which will take place between the 4th and the 8th of March in Les 2 Alpes in France.

Your favourite snowboard team will be part of the excitement too. In fact the VZ team riders will be judges of the different competitions, and afterwards will be demonstrating their styles or providing trick tips to kids. Riders like Christoph Weber, Magnus Sterner, Joel Strecker, Clara Villoslada, Heppu Penti, Stéphane Lochon, Guillaume Charnay, Andres Barosso, Jonny Barr or Sylvain Bourbousson will take the place of the judges, and then will be on their boards riding with kids.
