![]() TSA Showdown - Open Jam
Building on the success of the SNO!park, SNO!zone introduce the new SHOWDOWN Ski & Board Jam format competitions!
The TSA Showdown made a welcome return to SNO!zone Scotland this past Saturday with another fresh mix of freestyle skiers and boarders. The monthly TSA Showdown is designed to gently bring skiers and boarders into the competitive side of the sport while ensuring a positive, supportive and friendly atmosphere. Over 25 people entered the jam competition with ages ranging from 7 to 21. TSA provided a fantastic prize purse that including a Uninc Snowboard, Snow skates and bindings. Throughout the jam everyone seemed to step up the tricks they were trying as each rider tried to prove they have what it takes to hold a podium place! Progression played a major part in this month’s competition and as such the judges decided to award prizes to the top four snowboarders due to the drive and determination of young SNO!zone Scotland local rider Sam McGrath from Glasgow. Ben Sakal took first place and walked away with Burton Mission’s and a Uninc board, closely followed by Connor Carrey who received a set of Burton bindings. Skiing saw Craig Mathers pull a smooth 540 which helped set him in 1st place while Cal and Gareth battled it out for 2nd and 3rd place. The TSA Showdown - Open Jam event page can be administered by dunx (Dunx), stu (Stu Brass), spencer (Spencer Claridge) and office (Office). Page views: 2743 |
