Good Friday at Snozone saw Operation Slopestyle/Big Air. The atmosphere was excellent with MC Rob Needham doing a fine job on the mic and James Fuller making the place stink like an ash tray. Judges for the evening were Dom from snowboard-uk.co.uk and the organiser Ted Land who was our man from the Army. The judges basically wandered around the slope encouraging the riders to do their things for the cameras and spot prizes were thrown down for good stuff.

We had 68 people turn up for the competition and there were plenty on the other slope making for a great spectacle. As all the Pros were still away on the real stuff, the comp gave us mortals a chance for prizes, which made for a hard competition and some even harder falls. A few people even made an effort for the Bond theme and the amount of grown men dressed as Miss Money Penny was frankly extremely worrying to many of us. We have no idea whether Bond ever had a pink poodle, but one was dragged up and down the slope all evening. Very cruel we thought.

The On Her Majesty's Snowboard Service event page can be administered by dunx (Dunx), stu (Stu Brass), spencer (Spencer Claridge) and office (Office).
