Xssive Homegrown Snowboard Series
The concept of the series is to encourage amateur riders to compete in a fun and enjoyable environment.
The emphasis is on competing, whether you come first or last - it’s the taking part that counts. (No sponsored riders allowed, i.e. cannot be part of a sponsored team, receive trade deals, receive shop sponsorship or receive slope sponsorship). We are looking for another snowboarder to join the Ski Village Snowboard team, so come along and show us you skills, maybe it could be you!! If you are a current Xssive or Snowsports member, the good news is its completely FREE to enter, for non-members its £10 per comp. Schedule Saturday 31st March 2007 Practice 4.00pm-4.30pm Big Air Qualifiers 4.30pm-5.30pm Big Air Final 6.00pm-7.00pm Prize Giving 7.30pm You only need to be able to perform basic tricks to enter so get out there practising those straight air grabs and half pipe straight airs. Entry forms are available from reception and also on our website www.sheffieldskivillage.co.uk, (from Monday 26th March) make sure to enter early, as each comp will be limited to the first 40 entries received. Categories include male and female, Under 8s, Under 10s, Under 12s, Under 14s, Under 16s, and Over 16s. All competitors will receive a certificate.Prizes include free lift passes.
