Scottish Snow Sports Festival
The Scottish Snow Sports Festival brings together winter sports enthusiasts for a fun weekend of on and off snow social events and music.
Whether you’re a seasoned mountain veteran or a complete newbie, there is something for everyone, with the aim of celebrating the best of what the Scottish winter scene has to offer. Taking place Friday 18th – Sunday 20th of February 2011, in Aviemore and the Cairngorm Mountain, the event is proudly supported by www.DarkSnow.co.uk, Onyx Snowboarding, Syndicate Clothing and the Cairngorm Brewery. The event in its inaugural year will feature club nights from Syndicate and Onyx at 2Hoots, the DarkSnow pool competition at Café Mambo and a karaoke evening at Mackenzie’s. On snow there will be freestyle coaching from Onyx, with some fun mini competitions and spot prizes to get you in the party mood. Add to this some of the best terrain and snow for you to enjoy with your friends and you know you are in for an amazingly fun weekend. The idea is quite simple, get yourself there, join in the fun, make some new friends and remember what enjoying winter sports in Scotland is all about.
