Clash of the Titans
Skiers, bladers and boarders battle it out down the slope to be Ruler of the Mountain!
 Sponsored by Neilson in association with Board Stiffy and Pago. Win a week’s holiday for two to Les Deux Alpes, including flights, transfers and half-board hotel accommodation plus clothing from Board Stiffy and loads of other cool gear from A4 Distribution, K2 and SP and Snozone passes. Boarder, bladers and skiers battle it out down a slalom course of jumps and banks. Warm up 3pm - 4pm, comp starts at 4.30pm Entry fee per person: £10 in advance, £15 on the day (no concessions) Entry fee includes warm up session, competitor T-shirt, free drink and food voucher Competition format: heats with first and second going through to the next round After comp party in the new Beach Bar at Snozone (over 18s only), live band Minimum age for entry is 15 years The live band playing in the sno cafe on Saturday evening (around 8pm) are Little Joe Zero (from Essex) - rock/punk/hip hop fusion. Rules of the competition: 1. Open to skiers (no sticks), bladers and boarders. 2. Competitors must meet Snozone’s Minimum Recreational Standard: ability to control speed, link turns and use poma lift. Failure to meet this standard will result in a request to vacate the slope. No refund will be given under these circumstances. 3. Use of helmets and wearing of Snow X official competitor T-shirts is compulsory. 4. Obstructing, hitting, deliberate crashing and pushing with both hands are illegal and will lead to disqualification. 5. All entrants are required to complete an entry form and sign a Disclaimer. 6. All Snozone slope rules and regulations apply to all competitors. 7. Minimum age of entry is 15 years. Competition structure: · Entrants race in heats down a slalom course with jumps and banks. · Four competitors in each heat with males and females competing together. · The winners and runners up in each heat will go to the next round, third and fourth placed are out of the competition. · The competition has 5 rounds ending in one final.
