Clash of the Titans
Skiers, bladers and boarders battle it out down the slope to be Ruler of the Mountain!
Dubbed as "Neilson's Clash of the Titans" by Snozone, this was a boarderX type race but participants can be boarders, Skiers or dare I say it... Snowbladers. The course had 3 sharp turns, one 3 foot jump and 2 smaller jumps. Four people in each race and the top two qualify for the next round. Predictably the 4 podium positions were occupied by skiers but one boarder managed to make it to the last 8. The winner got a fully paid holiday for two from Neilson's travel. The other 3 Podium positions got a goodies bag each which I assume contained T-shirts etc from the event sponsors.
