 SNO!storm
The park set up will be more inventive than ever and the rookie park with FREE on hand coaches will be there for beginners!!
This SNO!storm we have got Cassette Jam headlining the event– Leeds’ most exciting DJ duo, often compared to 2 many DJ’s! These boys play a mash up of all sorts of music genres – their sets are always energetic and unique!! They will play a set out on the slopes and then a set in the SNO!bar too!! Leeds based DJ Duo made it big time when they won the CREAM DJ comp in 2006. Since then they have racked up residencies at the Dirty Disco, Cream Amnesia (Ibiza ), Chibuku, Shake Shake & The Arches (Glasgow)!! So we are really lucky to have them joining in the action on the slopes for the first time!! They play everything from Electro to Indie, from House to Hip-Hop!! Except the unexpected!! Listen to them at: www.myspace.com/cassette_jam Dom Harington (British half pipe champion) will also be showing off his turntable skills on the slopes and up at the after party too!! A regular DJ at the Brits and other snowboarding industry events, Dom has not played at Castleford in well over a year!!! The SNO!bar will play host to a riders chill out lounge with the sounds of Micky P Kerr doing an acoustic set – ths guy is fantastic his shows are always highly entertaining – check out his stuff on his my space page: www.myspace.com/mrkerr 50fifty will be holding it’s own party too with DJ Adam Swales taking to the decks for the evening!  The park set up will be more inventive than ever and the rookie park with FREE on hand coaches will be there for beginners!! Limited edition SNO!storm T-shirts will be up for grabs as well as other goodies!! Also new on the slope - The Half Way Hut - dishing out FREE Tea, Coffee and Hot Chocolate for all the Riders!! Take some time out of all that riding for a break on the slope side sofa's and watch the action while you get your sugar fix! As ever there will be instructors on hand giving free hints and tips to get you brushing up your tricks on the rookie park features! The SNO!bar - 9pm-10pm - Acoustic Session with Micky P Kerr - with his mix of acoustic, poetry and hip-hop you will not be disappointed!! 10pm - 12midnight - Cassette Jam will bringing the party off the slopes and up to the SNO!bar! 50fifty - Our second SNO!bar 50fifty will be hosting a more upbeat party with guest DJ's playing an eclectic mix.
