![]() Conceived as a show to appeal to real snowboarders it gives riders the opportunity to try all the latest equipment just as it hits the shops and talk to manufacturers and pro riders. Includes "The Quarter Slaughter" competition.
Conceived as a show to appeal to real snowboarders it gives riders the opportunity to try all the latest equipment just as it hits the shops and talk to manufacturers and pro riders. For those who are keen to improve their technique, coaching from both professional snowboarders and fully qualified coaches will be available. In addition to product testing and coaching opportunities there will be seminars run by some of the leading figures in the sport. As one of the highlights at last years show, the seminars proved really popular. Subjects covered will be Maintenance and Repair, Mountain Safety, Snowboard Photography, Transceiver Coaching, plus a number of additional seminars through out the day. The seminars will be hosted by some of the biggest names in the sport including Nathan Gallagher (Photography), James Stentiford (Avalanche safety), as well as Tim Warwood and Adam Gendle (Snowboard filming). Admission to the Snowboard Show product area and seminars are free whilst slope access for coaching and product demos is charged at the normal SnowDome rates. The coaching sessions run hourly and are available on a first come first served basis.

Evening Event10pm – 1am Snowboard Show Jam Session incorporating the Quarter Slaughter Comp. An all out jam session with some of the best prizes for a snowboard comp ever. Also, the resurrection of the legendary Quarter Slaughter on Tamworth’s giant quarter pipe. This time the comp is going by the name "Another Trick on the Wall" and will feature a mammoth 7ft tombstone. That's well over 2m to you youngsters and almost certainly taller than your dad. In addition to the mountain Safety seminar Neil will be joined by renowned big mountain freerider Graham McVoy to explain the skills and techniques used to mount a search using transceivers. If you are planning on spending any time in the real mountains then these seminars are a vital part of your preparation. New for this season will be an evening session, this will revolve around the quarter pipe and will feature some of the most extraordinary prizes yet seen at any snowboard event. This event is a must to enter and the prizes could have a dramatic effect on your leisure time.
