 SNO!storm

 Friday night saw Castleford’s first SNO!storm of 2009, and what an amazing night it was! There were over 200 of you out on the slopes! A creative park set up allowed for lines galore!! The rookie area above the half way hut worked really well with the quarter pipe proving very popular plus a few people ended up in the tree’s on the wrong side!! And with the rookie rails out as always on the lesson slope the park really did had something for everyone! DJ Alilou made her SNO!storm debut playing a banging set on the slopes made up of Ragga, Dance Hall and Reggae. Off the slopes there were stalls to browse, the snowboard simulator to try your balance skills and live Graffiti from Fauna Graphic and Rocket01. Up in the SNO!bar there was another party going on – with DJ’s Queen Bee, Poultergiest and Aidan Harington playing everything from hip-hop to house, from breaks to DnB. The SNO!bar also featured a huge screen showcasing snowboarding films all night too – something we’ll definitely be repeating next time!!! There was also loads of freebies given out on the night too including the next in range of limited edition SNO!storm T-shirts!!Watch out for the next CASvegas SNO!storm it’s the SEASON PARTY and it’s set to be bigger and better than ever – with loads going on off the slope and some VERY exciting stuff happening on the slope too!!
