The Freeze is back.

This May Bank Holiday weekend 29th -31st May 2004, Sheffield Ski Village is proud to host some of the best skiers & snowboarders in the UK.

Over the last five years the Sheffield Freeze competition has attracted some world class competitors from Europe, such as snowboarder Anton Holland & skiers Phillip Meier. The two riders who have dominated the Freeze over the last few years; Andy Bennett & Mike Wakefield are unable to compete in the Freeze this year as they have been invited over to the Iceland project. So this year it is open for a battle with the new riders, like Marc Seynave (Switzerland), Paddy Graham, Terence Thompson, Charlie Clark, Glen Lawley (UK).

Tim Richardson, event organiser says: “This event promises to be the best comp ever, as we have run the Xssive Homegrown series throughout the Winter, encouraging the new up and coming riders to compete in the Freeze event, which, from watching them out in the Park, they will undoubtedly entertain the spectators for the whole of the weekend.”

The practice session will be on the Saturday afternoon, followed by the Phonetics warm up party at the Ski Village, and then its down to Element nightclub with full on Phonetics party.

On Sunday runs the Slope Style comp, followed by the Big Freeze party, with some awesome DJ’s, providing the best music and the latest sets with a late licence.

After a massive Halfpipe & Big Air final on the Monday, with ripin’ tunes from DJ Devious Nature, huge jumps, and sick tricks, we will finally know who the King of Freeze is, with riders giving everything for the first place.

Don’t miss out, get this event in your media diary, imagine the sun, the music, the barbecue, amazing riders; you just can’t miss it
