 SCUK & Westbeach Birthday Bash
 Come celebrate SCUK's 5th & Westbeach's 30th birthday as we're the official after-party on Friday at the Metro Show.
 As you have hopefully become accustomed Snowboard Club UK will be hosting the official head-lining, heart-stopping, mind-blowing after-party of the Metro Ski and Snowboard Show on Friday 23rd October in the Kensington Bar, Olympia, London. Bring your birthday wishes as in traditional style this gathering is a celebration of the birth of SCUK and at the tender age of 5 we’ve requested the attendance of a not-so-responsible guardian in the form of Canadian clothing guru Westbeach who are also celebrating a mighty 30 years of fine threads! Speech! We’ve already attracted the attention of hip-hop maestro Nick Maxwell, who has played alongside greats from Run DMC to Rahzel. Of course, no Bash would be complete without an appearance from the now legendary Tony B. Further details about the full line-up (including a yet-to-be-announced première) to follow shortly, but needless to say this is gonna be a hot ticket so get these dates in the diary, log the coordinates and start throwing some shapes... we feel a moon-walk coming on. It's all happening on Friday!: Come to the Metro Show on Friday afternoon… Visit the SCUK stand, check out Westbeach product in the fashion arena, grab as many freebies as you can, watch The British Snow Tour, which will be hosting the British Invitational Championships on the Big Air jump at the Metro Ski & Snowboard Show and then get stuck into some serious action at the Mash up.  About Westbeach: Westbeach started in Calgary 1979 as a surf and skate store. Since the beginning of snowboarding Westbeach has designed innovative snowboard specific apparel from it’s Vancouver HQ. In 2009 we are celebrating 30 years of our involvement in the action sports world. We were there in 1979 kickin' ass and we're still here doing just that. About the Book:Outwest; Snowboarding, Westbeach and a new Canadian Dream is the new book commissioned by Westbeach and written by Dano Pendygrasse to help celebrate Westbeach's 30th Anniversary. The book is not a story about a company or even about a sport but is a look at people who for a part of their life, loved snowboarding more than anything else, when that's all that seemed important.
