 Refrigerator Open
Jam style event in the halfpipe with all proceeds going to the spinal injuries charity "Back-Up".
Back by popular demand is the Ellis Brigham organized Refrigerator Open event at the Milton Keynes Xscape snow slope. It will be held on Saturday 5th June from 7pm to 10.30pm. Similar to last year this is a rider influenced competition that is open to skiers of all ages and abilities. All the money that is raised is going to the spinal injuries charity Back-Up. The format is a jam style event on the HALF PIPE with spot prizes for anything from braveness to stupidity! There will also be rewards for rail excellence to the skiers with first time completions. The general idea is to go out there and have a good time, whilst still pushing yourself. Many of the UK's hottest young skiers are expected and will be giving out prizes, advice and plenty of encouragement. The riders list will be confirmed next week. There will be DJ's, demo skis, lots of rails and the possibility of a jump or two. Whether you plan to enter or to just watch from the bar, come down and support the cream of British freestyle skiing and a very worthwhile charity. If it's half as good as last year then it's going to be a really good night. The event will be covered by fall line, dark summer, local radio and press.
