RAF Charity Snowboard
RAF Charity snowboard in aid of the Special Baby Care Unit, at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford
The Royal Air Force Brize Norton snowboard team are based near Oxford. The charity event at Milton Keynes is basically having a Snowboard'a'thon and they will be riding for 12 hours on the day and collecting as much sponsorship as possible for the Special Baby Care Unit, at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford. They already have a few people sponsoring them. SS20 have given them a few bits and pieces. They have about 20 - 30 people who are going to be riding on the day, but the numbers depend on operational requirements. If you know of any companies willing to provide some more bits and pieces for the lads on the day - not much just stickers and bits and bobs - then let them know. If you'd like to sponsor the team then also get in touch. You can email John Hutchison ("Hutch") for more information. We'll hopefully have a report and some shots after then event and wish the guys good luck on those damn Pomas. The RAF Charity Snowboard event page can be administered by dunx (Dunx), stu (Stu Brass), spencer (Spencer Claridge) and office (Office). Page views: 3145 |
