Perma Snow Fun Day
No pre registration - turn up pay & ski or snowboard , single £10 fee for the day. Helmets required, other protection is up to you.
Perma Snow Fun Day At Bracknell Ski Slope Saturday 24th 9am to 6 pm. The idea is to get a chance to try out the surface before the competitive events later in the season (see below for details of future events). The morning will be for racers to try out Perma Snow from 9:00am to 1pm. Hopefully this will be through our new Slalom gates (due to arrive this week)or if not through cones - I will confirm either way by Friday evening, or call the centre to check at Bracknell Ski Slope 01344 789002. There will be a break for lunch at 1pm with chance to buy some BBQ food while the race course is taken down & the Freestyle kit put into place. Localish DJ Jo Stevens & friends will set up some sick tunes to play during the afternoon. We are going to put out all the freestyle toys in a set up similar to that used for the AIM series last year - see the picture - including the big quarter pipe but there will jumps , rails & quarters suitable for all standards with plenty of local experts on hand for advice. We should have some stuff that hasn't made the web sites yet including Hudson's flat-down slide box new this month. World Cup worries? No need. If England end up playing on Sat at 4pm we will turn the slope side bar into a World Cup TV lounge for all ages. (England are going to win the world cup anyway, so why even watch the match, its a cert!) Future Events at the Bracknell Slope: Sat 15th July SRSA fun Slalom race. Sat 22nd July Bracknell Freestyle Comp "Jumps Bumps & 2 smoking turntables". Sat 2nd Sept Orange AIM Snowboard National Slopestyle Championship with Big Air. Sun 3rd Sept Orange AIM Skier National Slopestyle Championship with Big Air.
