Natives Summer Weekend
Missing the mountains during the long summer months? Needing a snow fix to get you through the long winter break? Brought to you by Natives.co.uk and Ski Club of Great Britain, join us for our Summer Weekender in Tignes and all your action adventure and adrenalin needs will be met.
The weekend combines all the best bits of time spent in the Alps. It’s a chance to get on the snow in the summer and experience racing on the glacier in a friendly environment, take part in the exhilarating water jump into the lake or spend time kicking back in the sun with a beer and friends. Plus, thanks to the complementary Sportignes card, a host of other sports such as volleyball, mountain biking, horse riding, golf, tennis and swimming, are all available free of charge. Open to anyone working in the snowsports industry, the weekend’s a great opportunity for networking and team bonding, but it’s also laidback and relaxed and a great reminder of why we all work in snowsports. The Summer Weekender takes place from 16 to 19 July 2009 and costs just £119. Included in the price is three nights B&B accommodation in a luxury Skiworld chalet, a two-day lift pass courtesy of Tignes*, entry into the Ski Club of Great Britain Giant Slalom, the Metrosnow.co.uk Team Dual Slalom and the Tignes Water Jump Comp, a Sportignes card, welcome drinks courtesy of Tignes, prize-giving BBQ courtesy of the Loop Bar, slalom training courtesy of Ski Focus and the Courchevel Enquirer Volleyball competition. Don’t be intimidated by all the bouts of rivalry – it’s all in the name of fun and lends a healthy competitive spirit to the weekend. Anyway, the title we’re all after the most this year is the fancy dress competition. Theme to be confirmed nearer the time, but expect some imaginative costumes hitting the slopes and bars.
